Hackensack River Canoe and Kayak Club

Incorporated in 1985, the Hackensack River Canoe & Kayak Club encourages canoeing and kayaking with a positive social experience while fostering a spirit of respect and conservation toward our rivers and lakes. Most of our trips take place in NJ, southern NY, western CT and eastern PA. Although longer trips take place farther afield. This list is used by our volunteer trip coordinators to announce trips to our members, and by club officers to send meeting notices and monthly updates.

The Sno-Valley Indoor Playground, a non-profit, parent-run organization, seeks to enhance the lives of families with children ages 0-5 through programs and technologies designed to encourage a greater sense of community in the Snoqualmie Valley. In particular, the Sno-Valley Indoor Playground wishes to help families utilize on-line parenting resources, become active in local BBS's, and use the Internet and other technology as a way of enriching their children's lives and developing parenting skills.
