Phil, I'm on T-Mobile and, as yet, I don't think I'm being charged for 195 calls, but I shall look at my bills more carefully now. In Touch's investigations have, in the main, centred on Virgin Mobile, but maybe they'd be interested in people's experiences on other networks. I don't think this breach of 195 's free to use principle should be tolerated. Mind you, I happen to think that paid-for directory enquiries was one of the dafter bits of de-regulation in the late 80s-early 90s. Cheers, From Ray I can be contacted off-list at: mailto:ray-48@xxxxxxxx -----Original Message----- Peter Beasley I have never used directory enquiries from a mobile, but I definitely do not think we should be charged. ----- Original Message ----- From: phil roberts Hi List following on from In Touch this week has anyone else noticed that on O2 we are now being charged 50P for Directory enquiries calls. this started about three weeks ago. When I queried this in our local O2 shop they just said they were now charging for this service and that was that as far as they are concerned. some people may think we should be charged for this service via mobiles but they have never charged before. What do other people think about this and do other providers charge?
