Hi Mark.

When you download mail, do you choos to download full e-mails or just headders? I strongly suggest to download just the headders then if you choos to read a particular e-mail sellect it and then phone will retreave it for you because if you download all mail at once it uses quite a lot of memory. Also, do you install your aps, including talks, in to phone memory or mem card. Again, for this very reason, I suggest installing talks and other aps to the mem card.

Subject: [access-uk] 6600 crashing with e-mail

Hi people.

When logging into my e-mail with the 6600 and the latest Candidate Release
of Talks over the weekend, I notice the phone would frequently crash when
arrowing through the message headers. Whether this is due to lack of memory,
I don't know. Maybe a solution to this is to update the mail box each time
you delete a message from the phone memory?

Another reason I've thought of for this is the sheer volume of messages that
come to this account. Maybe this is why its better to have a separate
account for the phone? Any thoughts appreciated.

Cheers,

Mark
