Have you got Adobe Falsh installed? I think that might be it. If not, try
holding the shift key down when you hit enter so it opens in a new window.
It might be something to do with popups. I've noticed that after I
installed and uninstalled Google desktop I have to to that sometimes
otherwise links on webpages don't open.
