Hi Sandra,

It's interesting to know that you still get the battery low warning
because I thought, from what Ray said, that maybe you didn't. Anyway,
I'll give them a go and thanks!

Hi Carol,
I recently purchased some 2500 amp NMH batteries from Maplin, together
with
a one hour charger. I'm getting about the same amount of use as I did
with
alkaline batteries and have had no problems with the behaviour of the
courier. The only thing I would add is that the battery level indicator

does not work with these batteries so I just have to wait for the
battery
low warning and then change the batteries as normal. I'd certainly give

them a go; it's a lot cheaper !

Cheers,
Sandra.
