Because they're not purging very well for me using Outlook Express and I haven't yet been to Googlemail online to do this. I will, if I need to.

Hi Carol.

If you use the web-based interface or an email client, why don't you
just either empty the trash folder or mark all messages for deletion
then purge them.

Hi,
I'm currently swapping mail from POP3 to IMAP and am having to get
rid of loads of unwanted Googlemail messages which have built up
over a few months ...

I can't remember and would be very grateful if anyone can tell me
how long they stay in the bin before disappearing totally. The bin
is pretty large now and I'd dearly like to get rid of them as soon
as possible! Thanks for any help ...
