Hi Mo,

Not sure if this is down to the damaged system files. But sometimes when I am using Microsoft word, I get the message that Microsoft word is not responding, and the same with Windows live mail, and also sometimes when I open up a folder, and arrow up and down, or press a letter to get to a folder or file. And also sometimes even Window-eyes stops responding. I have got one hell of a screwed up laptop.

Hello Petrina.

Are you experiencing specific errors? If so, letting us know what the errors are and when they appear could help us to diagnose your issue.
Alternatively, insert a windows7 DVD in to your DVD drive and press windows R for run. type cmd and press enter. finally, type "sfc /scannow" without the quotes and your system files should be checked using the DVD. if you've been affected by a virus, it could mean a windows reinstall.

hope that helps,

Mo.
