Hi Dave, I'm not sure but there certainly is a different dynamic on the UK lists vs the US. I cant' speak for the Auzzies smiles. I've been on the lists for almost 11 years myself and found although the lists like Blind tech can receive very heavy traffic it often gets quite political and heated. With NFB, ACB differing philosophys driving the conversation. We tend to be a bit more chilled out and concentrate on helping people than forcing our point of view I guess. Just an observation and query as a relative newcomer to the blind and visually impaired community as I have been losing more and more vision over the past ten or twelve years. It appears that the most active and informative email lists are all mostly run by Brits and Aussies. Any explanation for this? Again, a tip of my cap to all across the pond and down under as I am learning much by mostly lurking.
