Our house phone is developing the kind of problem I've seen before, with the
previous model, where the buttons begin to get pretty stiff to operate. Before
we decide to purchase another fairly soon, we're wondering if there's anything
on the market by way of a cleaner (lubricant) that is worth trying on the
buttons. Incidentally, we also had a similar problem with the older Victor
Reader Stream and did eventually solve that. The problem wasn't quite the same
in that the buttons just became very sticky and it appeared that some of the
"finish" on the plastic may have been coming away. Anyway, we solved this with
various cleaning methods and the Stream is still going well. However, we are
interested now to know if anyone has a suggest with regard to the Panasonic
phone.
