I definitely didn't install the AIM toolbar nor make it the default search
engine or home page. Should it open up as soon as I go onto the internet?

Hi Mandy,
Uninstall AIM and reinstall, with all of the options unchecked, such as
setting AOL as your default home and search page as well as to install
the AIM toolbar, which is probably what is intrusive.
