Hi Tink and all,

Having read all the messages on this thread including Vince's latest comments, I would say that although I use Jaws, I am not a proficient user of that screen reader, and although I do agree with the points raised on this thread about conflicts, I feel that where access keys are used which do not conflict with any screen reader commands the web developers or designers should be persuaded to keep them on sights although there should be an accessibility related standard for access keys.

Maybe as regards accessibility, the issue should be discussed with Julie Howell at RNIB if it has not been already.
