Hi Ali,

I can assure you, with absolute certainty, that ATW does not own the equipment, even if they have paid 100% of the cost. The equipment is owned by either the employer or, sometimes, by a third party who may have shared the cost with ATW. Neither the employer nor such a third party may dispose of the equipment without written approval from your ATW office. The ATW Guidelines are very specific that ATW does not own the equipment.

Many employers will agree to a leaving employee taking equipment with them, but ATW written permission is still required.
