Hi Derek It's a new flat, so I believe it was all serviced prior to my moving in. What they didn't find was a tiny leak at one of my radiators which is in an airing cupboard. This has now been sorted. My beef, however, was the way they didn't want to deal with it until I insisted. They have since apologised, so I reckon they know now how far to go with me! (smile). Lots of you have been very helpful and encouraging, so thanks everybody. Don't forget it's the landlord that is legally responsible For making sure the heating system is safe for the tenant. So l Landlord should make sure system is checked/serviced.
