Bill,

You can still get hold of updates for Ad-Aware SE, it's just the
automated procedure that no longer works.
Try this link:
http://download.lavasoft.com/public/defs.zip 
to get a zip file which contains one file that you put into C:\Program
Files\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware. You should then find you can run Ad-Aware and
it will pick up the new definitions.

From what I understand from discussions on this and other lists, the
latest 
version of the program is not accessible to screenreaders.
