OK, don't use an Android device myself but, like you, that would have been my hope. So, the queswtion out there, for any Android user, is: How does Jackie find where or if those songs are on her phone? If they're not on her phone, is it possible they're not actually downloaded to the phone but playing from some Cloud somewhere?

I hope you get an answer to this, Jackie. I would havfe thought there should be a place where music gets stored when purchased.

Hi Carol

I bought two songs from the Play Store on my PC, then went to my Android
device, opened Play Music, and downloaded them. But I can't find the songs
in a physical location on my phone such as Music or Media folders, and I had
hoped to be able to copy them from a folder and save them on my computer.
It isn't really important as I was just trying it out as an experiment in
the hope I could avoid iTunes. I understand all these copyright
infringements, but I can't see why I wouldn't be able to copy them onto my
PC given I paid for them?

Kind Regards,

Jackie Brown

No, I'm aware you purchased it from Play but you should be able to get it
into iTunes and use it there, if that's what you want, so you can put it on
your phone having put it first into iTunes.

Perhaps I'm not understanding what you have and where you want it to end up,
so forgive me if this is the case and please feel free to explain further,
if you think I may still be able to help.

Cheers.

Jackie,

If you can sync your phone then you can add your music to iTunes and put
it
where you like. I don't know how to do this from the Mac and struggle a
little with Windows (constantly being updated) but I can still get there
so
may be able to help.

Hi Vanja

It is helpful, and I'm going to try that later. Really I just want to
see
how easy it is to buy and transfer those purchases.

Thanks very much for your suggestion.

Hello,

Though I have an Android device I personally haven't used the play store
to
buy music. However, have you tried to go to http://play.google.com from
your
PC and logging in to your google account? I have no idea whether from
that
page you can download your songs, but I believe that you can stream them.
Perhaps that's nnot quite what you wanted but at least you'd be able to
stream them from your computer?

Again, I'm sorry I know this is not much help, but it's just
somethignthat
popped in to my head.

Apologies if this seems a really silly question. I purchased a couple of
music tracks this morning from the Play Store on my PC. When I go into
the
Play Music app on my phone, I see the two songs, but how can I get a copy
of
them onto my PC, or can't I do that?
