This is just to announce a new service just launched and not even on the web
site yet.
For those finding the migration from Window-Eyes to JAWS daunting, we offer
a new configuration service.
You tell us what settings you would like migrated over from Window-Eyes,
such as how much verbosity, data before or after controls, etc, then well
make a mutually agreed appointment to remote into your computer using JAWS
Tandem and discuss with you and change if you like any settings to match
those of Window-Eyes. I know it can sometimes be daunting to go through the
many settings of a screen reader that is new to you, so this is really to
kind of make JAWS sound like Window-Eyes, with your own settings.
This service is also available if you are switching from Window-Eyes to
NVDA, or any screen reader to any other.
It usually takes an hour or less, and the cost is £30.00 per hour, so I
wouldnt expect youd pay more than £30.00.
