Thank you both, Darran and Jonathan. Sorry Jonathan I didn't realise there
was an audio described category which then can be actually searched on the
Amazon site *sheepish smile* I was doing a search for the words audio
described... Thanks for the useful link, Darran, it's in my favourites now.
Very good as a reference when using other sites like play.com which doesn't
seam to have anything about audio description, or am I messing something
obvious again?

Cheers,
Amro

OK amro, saying as that last suggestion seemed to be a bit of a let down,
smile, how about this ...

http://www.yourlocalcinema.com/ad.dvd.html

It says it lists everything available with AD on DVD. There does seem to be
both film and television on the list. So
here's hoping this is more fruitful!

This makes searching truly tiresome. And do you know what the really stupid
thing was? I checked at random a couple of the four-hundred titles and they
didn't have any mention of AD on the DVD details page.

Thank you for the idea though. Better than nothing...

Cheers,
Amro

Hi Amro.

If you go to Amazon.co.uk and search for Audio Description in the Film and
TV category, you should be offered up a list of titles with this feature.

I've just tried it myself, and it states there are 477 DVD titles with AD, a
couple of Harry Potter's being at the top of the list.

I hope this is of some help.

Hi everyone, I want to buy a program which I know it is audio described. But
the question is, how do I know that the DVD edition I'm buying has the audio
description? Play.com and Amazon for example do not mention anything about
AD on their product details pages.

TIA,
Amro
