Amro, I've found that many a series on iPlayer is missing at least one episode described, even when that episode has been described on air. I've never received a satisfactory explanation from the BBC as to why this should be, despite numerous enquiries when series have been running. I have Sky+ now, and simply use that instead. I'm at least guaranteed my audio description that way. Not of much help to you I know, but at least you're not losing your marbles. Sean. ________________________________ From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Amro Bilal Sent: Monday, November 08, 2010. 10:47 AM To: Access-UK Subject: [access-uk] Audio described programs on iPlayer Hello all, Does it happen that you get TV series half audio described? I mean a TV series with only some of its episodes audio described? I am trying to find the audio described versions of the current episodes of Reggie Perrin and Being Human on BBC iPlayer but they don't seem to be there. Unless I am going senile, I am sure last week's instalments were audio described! Sorry if this is a basic question but, believe it or not, I started paying attention to the audio description feature only very recently. I gave audio description a go a couple years back but found it to be intrusive. I tried it again in the past few weeks but I am finding it to be very useful this time! Any thoughts?
