Hi George,
thanks but it lasted all day and a number of re-boots of the pc, uninstalled
the programme and all is now back to normal.Interestingly it still won't
function with the Adobe flash player which is the latest version and works
great on Youtube, very odd! Once again thanks!

  Hi Alistair,

It is entirely possible that your system might take a while to re-boot. This
is quite common after new software has been installed. Hopefully when you next
boot up, it won't take so long.

  George.

  Hi All,

I installed the I player yesterday and immediately noticed it had a couple of
negative effects on my pc, I use jfw 4.51 and xp home. firstly the pc took an
age to boot up, secondly the windows log on theme/chime did not play when the
pc booted. I had initially tried to use Adobe Flash to play the programme I had
selected but it said it was not installed when it clearly was. Anyone else had
these problems? Think overall though a good service and the quality of the
sound and picture is excellent.

  Alistair

  Best wishes
