Hi guys,

First of all, for those who care let me say that this update has been pushed
to the Android app too and it does mention audio description. I haven't
plaied with it yet so don't know if/how well it works.

May I also please ask if audio description service is available on the web
version of the player and if so how to activate it? I realize that thios may
have been discussed in past, but as always I wasn't interested at the time.
So, is there separate audio described category, or can one just turn on
audio description once the show is chose if that option is available?

Thank you.

Hi,
Having had a look on BBC iPlayer on my iPhone, I could not find this
category. However, upon checking the App Store updates, I noticed an update
for iPlayer that my phone had not yet automatically installed. For
reference, this is version 4.4.0. In the release notes, it does indeed
mention audio described content and so I must praise the BBC for adding this
wonderful feature to their app.
I, along with many others I am sure, have been waiting for this for years
now, and finally, it has come.

Thanks BBC!

audio described content. Select the Categories tab and then scroll pages of
the list of categories until you come to audio description which, I think,
is number 16 in a list of 20 categories.
