hi joe, always found printing labels with a standard printer a bit hit and miss and very wastefull, especially if you only want 1 label, however i do use a dymo labeler which is dedicated to the task and will let you print 1 at a time. it will depend on your operating system which labeler you get, but i found that the older dymo label printer 310 to be easy as punch to use with windows xp. it comes with its own software which includes a very easy to edit and navigate data base for all your addresses. these can be easily purchased from the internet via ebay or many on line shops, or from dymo themselves. although i havent tried it myself, the newer 500 series of dymo printers are needed for windows 7 operating systems. this printer uses a heat sensitive label and requires no ink as the label is printed with a lazor.
