Hi all, I own a behringer USB podcasting kit which has a five channel mixer. I have been using it successfully for three months. On monday, I went to belgium. The PC was turned off, and the kit was plugged in via it's USB audio interface (nothing abnormal there, I always leave it plugged in when I ever have to turn off the pc). So, I returned on tuesday. I didn't use the mixer on wednesday, because I wasn't on skype, didn't need to broadcast, or do any sort of recording. Yesterday evening I went on skype to chat to a couple 'a friends. When they called, the mixer was plugged in the same way it was on sunday, before the way I'd left it. So, they couldn't here me, because nothing was inputting to the mixer. I tried plugging a pair of earbuds in, and seeing if I could here anything. no, no output as well. I thought this was really bizzarre. So, I looked at volume controls, and they were at really high levels, in fact I tried putting my speaker volume control on the mixer to 100 and the wave to 100%. I tried another USB port, but no luck. The ironic thing is, windows recognises the USB audio device and I can select it in sounds and audio devices. This leads me to think its a mixer failure. I would appreciate any opinions on the subject matter, and for anyone who has a Behringer USB podcast kit, is this a known fault? Best regards, Orhan Deniz.
