Hi, and what about HP Compaq laptops? I got mine at a fairly cheap price, which
I shalln't disclose on this list <grins>.

Well, I've used PCSpecialist.co.uk recently They are a web based company but
they seem to be decent. They seem to have good prices. If you'd rather buy from
a high street shop, PCWorld offers reasonable deals and fairly wide range of
selection. Toshiba laptops tent to be slightly cheaper than some other brands
and they score good reviews, though I wasn't perhaps the luckiest Toshiba user.

    Hi,
I'm looking to purchase either a cheap desktop or laptop PC.
Can people recommend any shops they used or any PCs they've bought lately.
I would prefer to buy from one of the highstreet stores as it will probably
work out easier to get it repaired if it breaks down etc.
    Thanks for any info,
    Adeel
