Hi Saqib.

The N86 works fine where I am, signal strength is good and consistent though as
in most cases, it works better outdoors.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Hi Ibrahim. Do you get decent GPS coverage with that phone? Three had bought
that phone out a couple of months ago.

  Hi.

I've moved on, I'm using an N86 now and am loving it. I'll be looking
through the manual soon with regards copy and paste, but BeyoCBS nicely puts
all the text in an edit window so you can scroll, highlight and copy or
otherwise manipulate the text as you wish.

  All the best, Ibrahim.

Hi Ibrahim. How do you copy and paste text on the E71? Do you still have
this phone or have you moved on to the latest and greatest?

    Hi.

You have to remember how much this program costs compared to the mainstream
alternatives. For the moment its good enough that it does what it does and for
a fair price. Yes, these features would be nice, but there's nothing stopping
you from copying and pasting the text yourself which is doable.

    All the best, Ibrahim.

That's great. It would be fantastic if we can control the text output,
i.e. saving it, transferring it over to PC etc.

      Hi Ali,

There is currently no way to control or stop the speech, but this will
come soon. However, when it finishes reading, you can then read the output
with Talks, then you can get more control for the moment.

We will be selling it from Monday at an introductory price of 75 pounds.
Later, features will be added especially for us, but some have been already. I
will post a message on Monday to let you know that it will be on our web site,
and you will be able to download the demo.

The version for the blind will be a little different to the one that is
up there now on the Beyoweb site, as the beeps get higher as you get more in
focus, so auto shoot works really well. Other features will, as I say, be added
later.

      All the best

      Steve

      Hi,

I have just tried it on my n82. It is promising. First time shot, I had
nearly 90% recognition. I think with little bit of trial and error, it would
be very useful. One thing I could not find is how to stop and start reading,
read by word, or read the text again. I am sure there is a way of controlling
it.

      --------------------
      Thank you.

Hi. I have downloaded the Beyocbs reader and I don't know how to change
the default voice to English. It's a bit hit and miss on my Nokia E71. I think
I may be able to achieve better results with practise as I have a bit of vision
and can line the phone up properly. Has anyone tried this software with a
higher spec camera than the Nokia E71 3.2mp camera? I'm getting an E75 next
week and that has the 5mp camera so I can always give it a shot on there. It
looks promising. Well worth the £72 if I can get some success with it.
