Hello David, Many thanks for your reply, and for your suggested solution. The keyboard is working OK for me right now, following a phone switch-off, but I will try your solution tomorrow, and report back. Thanks again. I think in the past when you pressed up and down arrows to go into the edit box, you could type straight away. I think you might have to press the left and right arrow keys together to turn quick nav off and it might then work for you. regards David Quarmby quarmby@xxxxxxxxxxxx 07736 087019 KVIN, Edith Key Centre, 8 Upperhead Row, Huddersfield HD1 2JN Directions: turn immediatley right after leaving the bus station main entrance, we are located at the fourth door on the right, access is through an automatic door into reception. www.kvin.org.uk www.tail.org.uk ----- Original Message ----- From: Keith <mailto:k.clyde@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: Access UK to write message <mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, November 23, 2014 3:00 PM Subject: [access-uk] Bluetooth keyboard with the iPhone Hello all, I'm about to eat my words. I had thought that the IOS 8.1.1 upgrade had sorted out the Bluetooth keyboard problem of double letters being typed, but, unfortunately, it hasn't, and it's very frustrating. The only way to temporarily solve the problem, that I can fathom, is to switch the darned phone off and on again. And then, the following day, the problem returns. Thank goodness there's an excellent dictate feature, but I still use the BT keyboard to write certain texts. With very best wishes, Keith _____ <http://www.avast.com/> Image removed by sender.
