Hi.

As I recall, bookshare offers a very limited selection, mainly public domain
books because of copyright reasons. A better selection of unabridged
recordings can be found at the RNIB's talking book service, also listening
books and calibre do their own collections.

All the best, Ibrahim.

  Subject: [access-uk] Bookshare UK

  Hello

This topic must surely have been discussed, but I seem to have missed it!

Could someone give me some information about the UK Bookshare please? I seem
to remember there being some mention of Stream, but is it possible to down-load
books onto the hard drive of a pc then copy them onto an MP3 player? Is there
a separate book list for the UK or are we now able to share the US list?

  Many thanks.

  Margaret Smith
