Not only that, but you'd think the supplier would test the demo unit before
taking it out? Or is that too simple?

Hi Derek
Have you had some of the braille books produced by the RNIB recently? No,
I'm not going to knock RNIB again but speak up for braille displays. As
someone who uses a braille display like Rajmund the beauty of it you carry
the book within the memory of your device or on a USB drive. Faults
occasionally occur in any of our devices as was the case that you refer to
Derek, but one shouldn't assume that this is a common occurrence. In
practical terms reading braille on a braille display is as efficient as from
that on braille paper. The added beauty of the braille display is you're not
dealing with faded dots but a clear sharp dot.
