Hi,

Clarification time here. No, you can't set them to Grade 1 or 2, they have
no translator built in. However, you can set Jaws to Grade 1 or 2, and you
can connect the Esys to an iPhone or an Android phone, and use them that
way. The iPhone will also let you use Grade 2. But the Esys themselves
don't have a Grade 2 translator.

All the best

Steve

Yes they are excellent, think Jackie likes that manufacturer *smile*. A lot
of dosh though! You can set it to have Grade 1 or Grade 2 Braille so they
are very user friendly.

Subject: [access-uk] Braille Displays

Earlier this year, or was it last year, I looked at Braille displays but
they all looked complex, I mean complex for me being a new braillist.

At Sight Village I saw one I really liked but didn't get enough time to
play.

Don't worry Jackie and Eleanor I didn't buy it.

I think it was Esys and I think it is French.

Has anybody used one?

Also I am Jaws 13, 32 bit and windows 7.

Jeff
