Hi Colin;

Burglar alarm shouldn't make a difference but it MUST have a filter on
the line to it, as must everything else connected to any phone socket.

You can't run two routers off the same ADSL connection plugged into
different sockets. You can have one router connected, and use another
as a repeater. Needs a bit of fiddling though!
