Don't laugh but does your friend have a cordless phone? if so, put it on its base station and try again.

I'm with plusnet and occasionally can't get through until I put the cordless to bed!!

Subject: [access-uk] Broadband Problem

Hi
A friend Is having a problem with their BT Broadband service they are unable to get connected the DSL light on their Bt Voyager 2100 router keeps flashing. He contacted BT who said they would get an engineer to check the line at the exchange this was carried out but with no faults found is their anything else they should be asking BT to do.

He has tried using my filters and another ADSL modem but the problem still exists. Does anybody know if it would make a difference if they changed providers.
Thanks in advance.
Sam
