  Subject: [access-uk] Broadband question

  Hi

A quick question for a friend, as usual I wasn't following the relevant
threads on the list when these topics were last discussed. My friend is
getting an ntl broadband connection. She wants to purchase a wireless router
so that her housemate can share the connection with her, but we were wondering
if one of them could connect directly to the router through a network cable,
meaning that my friend would only have to purchase one wireless card, for her
housemate. Is this setup possible? Would they both be able to access the
internet at the same time using different connection methods? Or do we need
two wireless cards?

  Thanks

  James
