I have an external burner. Not sure of the name but it works great. The only thing I have trouble with is that ripping software client CDex doesn't recognise it as a drive. I'm sure this is down to CDex and not my computer. Other than that I find the new burner is great. The supplier has agreed to exchange it under warranty with no problems but I am not too happy with going into my tower so was thinking of replacing it with an external machine. A Freecom has been recommended to me. I have a Freecom external hard drive and I'm very pleased with it. Does anyone have any views on these please. Would an external be recommended or is there something against them I am not aware of. Many thanks for comments Roger Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once. ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
