I have an external burner. Not sure of the name but it works great. The only
thing I have trouble with is that ripping software client CDex doesn't
recognise it as a drive. I'm sure this is down to CDex and not my computer.
Other than that I find the new burner is great.

Subject: [access-uk] CD Burners

Hi All

My internal burner has died after only 6 months use. The supplier has agreed
to exchange it under warranty with no problems but I am not too happy with
going into my tower so was thinking of replacing it with an external
machine. A Freecom has been recommended to me. I have a Freecom external
hard drive and I'm very pleased with it.

Does anyone have any views on these please. Would an external be recommended
or is there something against them I am not aware of.

Many thanks for comments

Roger

Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.
