I tuned in also, and was similarly disappointed to not have a verbal translation. In this day and age I'm bewildered that so many documentary makers don't see the need for this. I to have contacted the BBC on several occasions over recent months to explain my views - without being nasty or ignorant - and have never once received so much as an e-mail to acknowledge my thoughts on the programs I was talking about. This incident brings to mid a Channel 4 film some months ago about the terrorists siege of a Moscow theatre, and as tonight, not one word of translation was provided. C4 also failed to respond to my questions about same. If you get any kind of response I'd sure like to hear about it. I'll be surprised though if you do!
