Thanks for that George. I have already been trying this but the problem I have run up against is two-fold. On the page you give there is an uninstall utility which I've already used, but it doesn't work propperly because it says the printer driver is running. On top of this, instalation isn't proving straightforward as the Dymo installer simply halts. Part of the problem is I've mislaid the getting started instructions so I don't know whether or not one is supposed to start instalation with or without the printer plugged in. I did also try seeing if the 'find new hardware' routine within Windows might provide a solution, and that's where I came up against the missing stdnames.gpd file. Quite a mess I've got myself into here, but I'm going to go over to Staples in a little while to get a peak at the starter guide which I think they'll let me do. I've resolved a couple of months too late to be more organised from now on, (smile). The file is: stdnames.gpd I need it to reinstall the Dymo 320 I have. Afraid disorganisation has gotten the worst of me. Please contact me off-list if you can help. Many thanks.
