I'm not sure but it sounds like the attachment is being blocked by some
security application. Ask them to resend the attachment after they have
zipped it to get round the blocking.

Subject: [access-uk] Cherry keyboard

I am using XP Home and am trying to use a programme which has been sent to
me direct from a technical guy at Cherry to enable me to programme certain
keys to carry out various functions. When I link on the attachment with the
file the following Notepad message appears:

FILE QUARANTINED
----------------

Microsoft Antigen for Exchange removed a file since it was found to match a
filter.
File name: "SetupKeyManKeyboardMouse_4006-01_EN.exe"
Filter name: "FILE FILTER= FileExtension: *.exe"

I think I also have to have the latest Microsoft Installer in order to use
the Keyman software.

Please could anyone assist me in installing the irrelevant software etc?

Thanks

Brian
