[access-uk] Connecting an amp to a computer

Hi, I've got some stuff on DVD that seems to only want to play on my DVD/video combi. My DVD player is connected through the AMP. Can I connect my AMP to my sound card on my desktop in order to record the DVDs directly on to the PC? If so how would I go about doing this?
There are 2 tape outputs on the back of the Amp as well as a Pre out. I'm presuming its one of these? All the other connectors are either inputs or for the speakers.
