Hi Catherine,

Yes. Download the JAWS Basic Training from the Freedom Scientific web site.
That book, and their other Daisy books, are in text and audio. In fact, you
probably have the book on your PC if you are a JFW user.

All the best

Subject: [access-uk] DAISY books question

Hi,

I'm wondering whether anyone has ever come across a DAISY book which gives
access to the text of the book? I hear lots about the capabilities of
DAISY, and the fact that if fully compliant the books would give us the
ability to listen to audio and also have access to the text (and I think
possibly images) at the same time, but I'm yet to actually come across one.

Has anyone come across one? Are there any out there I can look at - even
just as examples of what can be done?

Catherine
