Hi guys, saw a Dell Inspiron Mini Netbook at my local Curries today. I quite liked the feel of it, including the keys, which are of a standard laptop sized keyboard. But, I tell you something, how cool and small are those clever devices! Anyway, any thoughts on the above Netbook would be greatly appreciated!

I am confident that is something Ibrahim will answer Saqib as he seems to know the NC10 like the back of his hand. Great you got it going anyway.

Hi Eleanor. I got my wife to read the screen for the installation process. I managed to read the the process where I had to press enter to boot from DVD as it was white on black. These DVD drives also come with a power lead as the netbook is not powerfull enough to power the DVD drive on it's own. However the keyboard is set to US and I can't find the option in keyboard settings in control pannel to set it to UK.

Fantastic news and congratulations. I am a little confused. What function other than jplugging in the USB hard drive did it play? How did you manage it all? Did you have sighted help or did you use that Narator thing?

Hi all. I have resolved my problem with the netbook. I managed to buy a external drive which is an LG brand. I plugged it in and connected it to the netbook with it's USB cable. The netbook asked me to hit any key to boot from the DVD drive. From there on I went through a formatting process which took over half an hour. The netbook rebooted its self then started to install XP and that took quite a while and I was asked questions reguards to configuration. I also had to install the Samsung drivers from the disk supplied. All in all the whole process took one and an half hours and the netbook runs much faster now. I won't be installing many apps as I think that might of bin one of the things which was slowing it down when starting up. Before I had MS Office Student 2007 amongst 3 screen readers along with lot of other applications and voices.
