However, I've just had another look in this Scheduler and have now found something called "Microsoft User Experience" or similar title and turned this off.
I'm hoping that this wil fix the problem but am not sure if it has yet.

Task Scheduler is normally used to schedule future tasks, i assumed you meant the task manager as opposed to the task scheduler.
