Kevin, TrueCrypt is awesome. First you have to create an encrypted container 
then copy any files/folders you want to secure to it. I recommend you run 
TrueCrypt, go to menu bar>help>beginners tutorial and read it. It gives a step 
by step instructions on how to create an encrypted container. I have just 
checked and I reckon the tutorial will be much clearer than any instructions 
you may get from other people IMHO.

If you are stuck write back though.

  I want to password protect some folders on this box it is going in for 
  repair to-night and I don't want to delete my documents just password 
  them I have truecript on this computer and have not played with it yet.
