Hi George

Thanks for that advice. I've never used a braile embosser before and just assumed as with most peripherals you would require some driver software.

I will connect the embosser to another PC and once the Ducskbury software CD has been located will run it on said PC and see what happens.

What a way to run a railroad

Cheers
Darren

Hi Darren,

You do not necessarily require drivers for Index Embossers.

However, much depends on what braille software you are
using. For example, Duxbury embosses direct to the port.

If you'd want to talk it over, call me on 01604 792777.

George.

Subject: [access-uk] Everest embosser software

Hi All

I am trying to obtain driver software for an Everest Braille
Embosser. This is currently connected to a machine running
windows XP. But it needs to be moved to another machine
running the same OS.

The problem is that the Original CD that came with the
embosser has gone missing. So I am wondering if anyone knows
where I might be able to download or if thats not possible
purchase the driver software.

Many thanks
Darren.
