[access-uk] External monitor

Hi all,
well, my expedition into my old 2006 Imac did not fix the display issue I am
having. All the connectors and cables were properly in their places, but,
no display. Before I get rid of it, I want to try it with an external
monitor to see if it works. I do have a spare monitor at home, but, I do
not have any idea what sort of cable I need. Can anyone assist me please?
This is all in one late 2006 Imac. I believe it has mini-DVI port.
