Hi Andy. I'll answer this one if I may *smile*, the answer in short is no. Audible format 4 is the best quality Nokia devices will support, even range topping models like the EX6, N97 and so on. Its not a hardware limitation, its the symbian software and the media player which pose the technical challenges as devices have to have the necessary codec's to support the audible format. If that makes you grind your teeth though, think of the poor pocket PC and Windows Smartphone user, they can only do format 3, which is worse still, so in comparison your better off in many ways. All the best, Ibrahim. ----- Original Message ----- From: ANDY COLLINS To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Thursday, July 29, 2010 9:07 AM Subject: [access-uk] Re: FYI: a new annoying tick box on Audible to download hiAmro - Is there updated software for audible enhancement for mobile phones? Last I was aware, was that the audible enhancement would work on Ipods, and some Apple phones, but not Nokia phones. - Andy ----- Original Message ----- From: Amro Bilal To: Access-UK Sent: Wednesday, July 28, 2010 10:19 PM Subject: [access-uk] FYI: a new annoying tick box on Audible to download For those who download Audible contents in Audible Enhanced Audio formats you may need to tick a tick box toward the top of your library page before you can download your purchase. The tick box is a confirmation message to insure that you have installed the latest Audible Manager updates. Without ticking this box the downloading links will not click. I thought I would mention this to save anyone wandering why they can't download Audible programs. It took me the best of half an hour trying to click the downloading link in vain before I noticed this newly added confirmation message. BTW, you can update Audible Manager from menu>help>check for updates from within Audible Manager itself. Hope this info will be of some help.
