Hi Barry, pasting the answer from George Bell that he sent weeks ago. Jim. Hi Roger, Set up one folder to look the way you want. The go to Tools, Folder Options, and select the View Tab. Hit the "Apply to all Folders" button, and you will be asked if you wish the current view to apply to all folders. That's it. George. I am very pleased with myself and the results. Myself for achieving a first and the results for seemingly solving most of the little irritations I was getting. However I have one niggle. When I open a drive or folder the view is in Tile mode whereas I prefer Detail. I know how to go to View/Detail but I'm wearing my finger out. There is a way of doing a blanket change for the whole system but I can't work it out. Can someone point me in the right direction please. Many thanks Roger ----- Original Message ----- From: Barry Hill To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Saturday, May 27, 2006 4:31 PM Subject: [access-uk] Files and folders view How do I get all my files and folders to list in one column instead of, as they are at the moment, in two or three columns? Thanks Barry
