Dunno, haven't got a locked version.

The only thing I do remember when setting up to use O2 was that I had a problem sending messages and had to set this manually because it didn't set up with O2's software text.

Hi Carol P and all.
Well, it turns out that O2 locked N86's do the format
slightly differently compared to unlocked ones. Hannah
has managed to get both Talks and Eloquence installed.
The question is in what way are the screens changed.
Chat soon.

Chris,

I would think this part is the same but wonder if that
setting for signed software has to be changed ...

Can't remember any more than that.

I presume you've got the Eloquence software installed?

Hello all.
My friend Hannah Day's o2-branded Nokia N86 had to be
reformatted today as she is unable to send any messages,
just like the problem another friend Gary Price had. I
told her the screens, i.e., region, date and time, but
now Talks will not install. Instead it is sounding a
double click. Do any o2 users using an N86 have to set
it differently in any way? For example region, time and
date? Please respond as soon as possible so I can help
Hannah get out of this mess.
Many thanks.
Chat soon.
