The totally free and spyware free work horse has to be CDex. Tom has a
download on his Whitestick site. I believe it's compatible with all
screenreaders. I find it will do most formats very well but some a little
slowly. It will translate OGG to WAV or MP3 as I frequently do with no
problems.

Not aversed to paying, but wondered if anyone has recommendations for
freebies in this area.
I've come across one, namely, Switch Audio File Conversion Software
which is at:

The fear with free stuff is always unwanted spyware or malware.
(A person has indicated they need a conversion utility to prepare
stuff for transfer to a Stream, which plays both MP3 and OGG formats.)
Any comments and recommendations are welcome.
