Andrew: as I understand it Mike Duxbury is someone much higher up in
vodafone and unlikely to be able to answer your requests, below is a
repost of a message to the Talks-users list sometime ago by the guy at
Vodafone who is the one who can be seen actually doing the selling for
Vodafone at SightVillage and similar. Also called Mike so possibly
causing the confusion. You and others who have had trouble getting the
service promised from VodaFone should Take particular note that his
Email signature also contains his mobile number so you should stand a
reasonable chance of getting in touch with him.

Seeing as further information was requested! Please see below:
If you mention Vodafone Speaking Phone, in our retail stores, they
should hopefully know which product you are looking for, they are
unlikely to recognise the name TALKS, as it is not sold under this name
through Vodafone.
I am aware that at least one TALKSUSERS subscriber has had difficulty
with our retail process, for which I apologise. However as I am sure you
are aware it is difficult to raise awareness of specialist products
across such a large number of retail stores, we are trying our best to
get retail staff up to speed.

Further pricing information is available in store, basically you will
not be charged for the software when you sign a new contract, and there
is no special tariff. You have the full selection of our standard
tariffs available.
All the information above is for Vodafone UK, we are discussing the
product with colleagues from around the world, and hoping to launch in a
number of other countries over the next few months, this should include
Vodafone New Zealand. Vodafone Ireland have already launched.
