Hi. No, I think you misunderstand me *smile*. I have a belt pouch in which I store items I want to carry with me, I simply attach the keychain to the zip of the main pocket so it dangles on the outside of my pouch and thus is exposed to the sky if you follow me. ----- Original Message ----- From: Saqib To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, March 11, 2009 3:04 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Freedom Keychain 2000 Hi Ibrahim. Are these Is it easy to purchase one of these pouches which hold the receiver. Another words is it a common accessory or can it only be purchased from a certain retailer. The keychain 2000 is a nice enough receiver, though to be honest, if you have a 51 channel receiver already, the keychain wouldn't benefit you that much. The problem you have is exposure related in so far as you'd need to find a way of allowing the gps receiver clear unobstructed access to the sky. If you could contrive to clip the keychain so its on the outside of your body then all may be well and it might be a worthwhile purchase. I personally had mine on a zipper on my belt pouch which I wore over my jacket for easy access. That way it wasn't obstructed in any way. All the best, Ibrahim Gucukoglu. ----- Original Message ----- From: Saqib To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, March 11, 2009 2:54 PM Subject: [access-uk] Freedom Keychain 2000 Hi. I'm looking to buy the Freedom Keychain 2000 and I would just like to know how accurate it is? I currently have the Bluenext 51 channel receiver and it works quite well when exposed to the sky. I sometimes experience a delay in updates to my journey when the receiver is in my jacket and I have to take it out for it to establish a good signal. I thought the Keychain 2000 will take care of this issue as it's exposed to the sky at all times when walking. Does anyone know how much the Freedom Keychain 2000 is? and who sells them. Talknav did sell them but they have moved on to the 66 channel receiver. This wouldn't be ideal as the receiver would be kept in my pocket and I'd probably be facing the same problems once the receiver was placed in my pocket. If someone has the latest and greatest 66 channel receiver then perhaps they would like to give me some feed back on it.
