Hi all.

I emailed this to a friend who came up with the following suggestions, or
place to look. Not sure what the replacement for the nokia 1100 is, but my
suggestion would be to go to a store such as carphone warehouse, phones 4 u
or the link to see what they have in stock. generally the low end nokias
are the easiest to use.

Cheers

Graham

The Nokia 1100 is the phone I would recommend. Shame its out of stock, as
it covers all the basic features and has a very feelable keybaord layout.

There is a similar phone out - saw it in Phones 4u, but I can't remember the
model number. Its one of the low end Nokias and shouldn't cost more than
about £40 on Pay as You Go - pretty similar in layout to the 1100 - its
definiltey one of the '1' series phones.

Might be interested in getting a second hander though. Have a look on eBay
or Loot - plenty of second hand blowers on both.

Just a simple phone I think really. If you have any ideas I can pass them
on.

Hi All
Anyone any thoughts, suggestions on the following please.

I need a mobile phone that is easy to use (meaning the buttons are
easily felt.

Screen doesn't matter because I am blind!
No need for talks, because I am also deaf!
I only need the phone for emergency use.
Like when out, and want to phone family to let them know I am ok etc.
So doesn't matter I cannot here, because they will know it's me!

o2 have suggested:
nokia 1101 but the handset is out of stock.
The sony ericsson J230i is easy to use but doesn't have soft keys and has
no indent on the number 5 key.
The last suggestion was the nokia 6101 this one is a flip phone type,
so it closes up over the keys when not in use.
But is far more expensive than the Sony model.

Now I am wondering could the number 5 key on the sony model be marked
with say High Marks.
nokia 6101 would i think be ok, but it's stupid to pay for expensive
handset when all it has to offer can't be used, like I wouldn't be able to
use the internet servcie with it, or its camera etc.

Regards,
Derek
