Hi,

Is anyone using GMail on the web, and have you applied labels to messages? If so, could you explain how you did it?

According to the help I have to check the box next to the messages I want to label, and then choose create new label from the more actions combobox. But I can't find anything about creating a new label in the combobox or anywhere else on the page. I'm using JAWS 7.0 - don't know if that's something to do with it.

The reason I want to do this, and the reason I'm trying to use GMail in the first place is because a) their pop service is free; and b) I like their web interface, and I want to be able to read e-mail away from home. Pop clients on PDAs don't allow us to use filters so I'm thinking I'll use the GMail web interface to read e-mail on the move. But to make the e-mail quicker/easier to view/manage (I probably won't read list e-mail, for example) I want to apply labels. If anyone else has this situation and has any suggestions please let me know.

Catherine
